Getting started checklist
After connecting your Amazon account, the Getting Started checklist walks you through each AdTrix feature with concrete tasks you can check off as you go.
How the checklist works
- On your first visit, AdTrix redirects you to the checklist automatically
- Click Getting Started in the sidebar to return at any time
- Your progress saves automatically — pick up where you left off
- When you're done, click Don't show this again or I'm all set to dismiss
Choose your mode
At the top of the checklist, two mode boxes let you choose how much control you want. Your choice filters which sections and tasks appear.
Hands-off mode
4 sections with 9 tasks covering the essentials: Campaign Manager, Campaign Creator, Harvest & Negate, and Brand & Competitor Terms. Best for sellers who want AdTrix to handle most optimization.
Full Control mode
All 7 sections with 17 tasks. Adds Target Optimizer, Placement Optimizer, and Dayparting on top of the Hands-off sections. Best for sellers who want granular control over every lever.
Switch modes anytime by clicking the mode box on the checklist page, or using the toggle in the header bar.

Campaign Manager
View and manage all your campaigns, budgets, and performance.
- Set Target ACOS on a campaign — click any cell in the Target ACOS column and enter your profitability goal
- Enable automation on a campaign — click an "Optimize" chip in the Automated column to open the Automation Drawer, or click Activate Automation at the top
- Change a campaign's daily budget — click any Budget cell to edit it inline

Campaign Creator
Create new ad campaigns with a guided wizard.
- Create your first campaign — pick a strategy tier or quick preset in the tabs, select products, set bids, and launch

Harvest & Negate
Promote winning search terms and block wasteful ones.
- Accept a harvest recommendation — review the green cards and click Accept to create campaigns from proven search terms
- Accept a negate recommendation — review the red cards and click Accept to block search terms that waste spend
- Toggle between Review and Automatic mode — Automatic mode harvests proven search terms daily without manual review

Brand & Competitor Terms
Define brand names used across the app.
- Add your brand terms — brand terms are excluded from harvest recommendations and added as phrase-match negatives in Campaign Creator by default
- Add competitor terms — competitor terms are excluded from harvest and tracked separately in reports

Target Optimizer
View and optimize individual keyword and product target bids.
- Use Quick Optimize — click Optimize All, High ACOS, High Spend No Sales, Low ACOS, or Low Visibility to instantly preview bid changes
- Optimize selected targets — select keywords with checkboxes, then click Optimize Bids in the toolbar to preview and apply changes
- Adjust bid settings — click Bid Settings to configure ACOS mode, safety limits, and choose a preset

Placement Optimizer
Optimize Top of Search, Product Page, and Rest of Search ad placements.
- Optimize placements — select campaigns, click Optimize, review the suggested placement changes, and apply
- Adjust optimization settings — click Settings to configure max placement percentages, change limits per run, and budget thresholds

Dayparting
Automatically adjust bids by time of day and day of week.
- View the RPC heatmap — click View RPC Data to see when your ads perform best across hours and days
- Enable dayparting — requires 30+ days of Marketing Stream data and 5,000+ clicks. Once eligible, toggle ON for automatic hourly bid adjustments
- Edit a bid adjustment — click any cell in the 24x7 grid to set a custom bid adjustment for that hour and day

Tracking your progress
A progress bar at the top shows how many tasks you've completed (e.g., "5 / 17 tasks complete"). Click any task row to toggle its checkbox — completed tasks appear with a strikethrough.
When you complete all tasks in a section, the section card turns green. Each section also has a Go to page button that opens the feature in a new tab so you can complete the task without losing your place.
Switching between Hands-off and Full Control updates the progress bar. Hands-off shows progress out of 9 tasks, Full Control out of 17.
Dismissing the checklist
When you're ready to move on:
- Click Don't show this again at the top of the page, or scroll to the bottom and click I'm all set
- You're redirected to the main dashboard
Dismissing the checklist does not reset your progress. Return anytime via the Getting Started button in the sidebar — your completed tasks are still checked.
